:CBSE का पूरा मतलब या इसकी फुल फॉर्म हिंदी मै “केंद्रीय माध्यमिक शिक्षा बोर्ड” होती है।
इसकी इस्थापना 3 नवंबर 1962 को हुई थी। और इसका मैन मुख्यालय नयी दिल्ली मै इस्थित है।
केंद्रीय माध्यमिक शिक्षा बोर्ड भारत सरकार का एक शैक्षिक बोर्ड है, जो केंद्र सरकार के अधीन आता है। यह बोर्ड सभी केंद्रीय विद्यालयों जैसे KV, जवाहर नवोदय विद्यालयों, और केंद्र सरकार से Approved निजी विद्यालयों को मान्यता प्रदान करता है।
यह विभिन्न प्रकार की परिक्षाओं का आयोजन भी करवाता है। यह 10वीं और 12वीं कक्षा की परिक्षा करवाता है। Engineering और Architecture में प्रवेश लेने के लिए यह AIEEE की परीक्षा भी करवाता था, जिसका की अब JEE के नाम हो गया है। CBSE 10th Result एवं CBSE 12th result Sarkari Result Exam .com पर देख सकते है।

It is one of the leading boards in public and private schools which is controlled and managed by Union Government of India.

CBSE is located in New Delhi, and its other regional offices are in Delhi, Guwahati, Allahabad, Ajmer, Chennai, Panchkula etc. Since July 2017, Rakesh Kumar Chaturvedi is the chairman of CBSE.
He is a IAS officer from Madhya Pradesh for the 1987 batch. Established on 3 November, 1962, CBSE is affiliated with all Kendriya Vidyalayas, all Javahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, private schools and most of the schools approved by the Central Government of India.
Each year, the Central Board of Secondary Education conducts main examination for class 10th and 12th students. CBSE conducts JEE Exam which was earlier known as AIEEE.
It is an entrance examination for getting admission into various undergraduate engineering and architecture programs in India. CBSE conducts Central Teachers Eligibility Test (CTET) and National Eligibility Test (NET) every year.
National Eligibility Test (NET) is conducted for the selection of professors at colleges and universities and Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) is for the selection of school teachers.
